R.S. Public Senior Secondary School, Karnal

The school is named after Late. S.Raghbir Singh, the illustrious Son of India, born in 1927 at Sheikhupura (Pakistan). His father Sardar Bahadur Sardar Buta Singh was Deputy Speaker in the Punjab Legislative Assembly before the partition of the subcontinent.

S. Raghbir Singh was educated at F.C.College, Lahore. He migrated to India in 1947 and settled in Karnal. In his youth, he actively participated in the struggle for the freedom of India.
